The Center for Energy Transition of the Faculty of Engineering and Science at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (CENTRA UAI) and the Chilean Association of Energy Marketers (ACEN) will hold a free seminar on “The Role of Electrical Distribution and Its Regulation in the Integration of Electromobility, Distributed Generation, and the Electrification of Energy Demand in Chile.”

The event will take place in a hybrid format on Friday, October 13, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at UAI’s Presidente Errázuriz campus.

“The program includes an interesting debate on the implications of incorporating new sources of electricity injections and withdrawals into distribution networks, and their impact on the operation of the electrical system and network remuneration,” said Daniel Olivares, Executive Director of CENTRA UAI.

Panelists will include Darío Morales, Director of the Chilean Solar Energy Association (ACESOL); Mauricio Riveros, Head of the Sustainable Energy Division at the Ministry of Energy; Vannia Toro, Vice President of ACEN and General Manager of EMOAC; Daniel Salazar, Managing Partner at Grupo Engie; and Ignacio Santelices, Sustainability Manager at Fundación Chile.
