Francisco Pizarro

Director of Innovation and Institutional Transfer at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, with over 14 years leading R&D and innovation in the academic sector. He has developed university–industry collaboration models, led joint projects with companies such as Microsoft and Claro, and promoted open innovation between corporations and startups. As a lecturer, consultant, and mentor, he has supervised over 100 projects for the UC Master’s in Innovation. Co-founder of Brain Chile and other student entrepreneurship initiatives. As an entrepreneur, he founded Newén Bioprocesos and is part of La Escafandra Distillery. Since 2016, he has served on the board of Inti Tech, a solar park robotics startup, contributing to its growth and securing over USD 4 million in funding.
